About Alyssa Klein

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the metro Detroit area. My clinical interests are multiple sclerosis, chronic illness, caregiving stress, stress management, life transitions, school issues, and neuro-differences such as ADHD. In addition, I provide consulting services to parents who have children diagnosed with ADHD. I have a clinical background working with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, trauma, grief and loss, domestic violence, sexual assault, and court-mandated clients.  I utilize various therapeutic approaches tailored to the individual client. Furthermore, I have a background in helping individuals from various backgrounds, cultures, and belief systems. When I am not at work, you’ll find me spending most of my time volunteering throughout the metro Detroit community and spending time with my family and friends.

Alyssa holds a master’s degree in social work from Wayne State University and a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Oakland University. Alyssa also provides school-based services with trauma-informed care as a general education social worker. Alyssa is a member of Children and Adults with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (CHADD).
